Susanne Soldan
is a performer and dancer based in Berlin. After studying contemporary dance her focus turned towards improvisation and real-time composition. Furthermore she developed an interest for site-specific performances and urban spaces in particular.
Susanne has been exploring the city as a performative process since 2016. In this context she is a constant member of p.u.r.e. – performative urban research ensemble.
Since 2017 she is also part of the Ensemble GANG which collaboratively develops dance pieces using everyday movements and urban spatial patterns.
Susanne is co-founder of the collective tristhymia – an all-female, intergenerational collective investigating the intersection of movement and sound in the context of dysfunction, pop-culture and political resistance.
She teaches contemporary dance and improvisation/composition to both adults and kids.
